This Get My Refund FAST position is responsible for supporting the member experience through various marketing, communications, public relations, business development, and retention activities. Responsibilities include: Project management and support for all member communications and marketing materials. Assist in the continued development of the Get My Refund FAST website, social media campaigns and web marketing. Creation of concepts and materials to enhance the ‘member experience’. Generate ideas to improve member retention and create brand equity within the senior market.
Preferred background is 1-3 years marketing with an in-house company or Advertising Agency with a working knowledge of material development and production. Familiarity with Taxation products a plus.
Core competencies are possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to drive process and execute, and superb attention to detail, and capacity for strategic thought and leadership.

This Get My Refund FAST position is highly visible and reports directly to the Get My Refund FAST Director of Brand Marketing. The winning candidate will enjoy the challenges and rewards associated with leading the Get My Refund FAST marketing efforts in Product Design, Product Development, and Sourcing. Get My Refund FAST Director (Brand Marketing) – M03
Location: Domestic (Some travel)
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Managing Partner
The Director will develop a unique, credible and powerful brand voice for Get My Refund FAST in our key markets. The successful candidate will oversee the Marketing, Corporate Messaging, Product Naming, Packaging, Demos, and Imaging.
Responsibilities include: Build the marketing brand strategy, principles, and processes to achieve operational excellence. Create the brand guidelines, both strategy implementation and design, and the training program to ensure consistency and strength in brand voice across the company. Consult with and develop tools and resources to help department managers apply the brand identity to their work and goals of their organizations. Bring a ‘creative infusion’ to Get My Refund FAST marketing, enabling campaigns and programs to achieve a greater and more memorable voice to the customer. Guide product, service, and feature naming products to ensure fit with brand and business strategy, plus alignment with corporate goals and marketplace impact. Develop a thorough understanding of Get My Refund FAST overall strategic business priorities and align marketing brand strategy. Build an extended brand team leveraging freelancers and agencies in specific disciplines to augment in-house capabilities and enable world-class quality deliverable. Bring a creative and memorable approach to the demonstration of our products, specifically in the area of licensed products. Identify and champion new, efficient methods of brand communication. Increase the products perceived value to the customer, thereby increasing brand franchise and brand equity. Increase sales by making a comparison with competing products more favorable. Analyze brand value by the amount of profit it generates for the manufacturer by increased sales and increased price, and/or COGS (cost of goods sold), and/or reduced or more efficient marketing investment. Oversee marketing research and analytics.
Qualities Required: 10-15 years in corporate marketing and/or advertising agency roles, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Deep expertise in brand strategy and brand management (positioning, architecture, naming, messaging, personality, tone & manner). In-depth experience in building brands through multiple channels and customer touch points. Demonstrated strength in being influential in a matrix-management environment; the ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners. Ability to assimilate business group strategy and objectives and develop brand programs that support business goals. Innovative and creative thinker that proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change and opportunity to help an organization look at things differently. Strong project management and organization skills-detail-oriented; deadline driven while maintaining ‘big picture’ view. Management presence, sound judgment, sense of humor. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
